Water is very essential to our health.

The human body comprises around 60% water. And it’s commonly recommended that you drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day (the 8×8 rule). But, did you know there are actually specific times during the day that are the right time to drink water? In fact, drinking water at those times can even boost your overall health and cognitive functioning.

So when exactly is the right time to drink water?

After Waking Up

Drink One to Two glass of water after waking up to cleanse your organs.

Before a Meal

Drink One glass of water 30 minutes before a meal to dilute digestive juices.

After a Meal

Drink water an hour after the meal to allow the body to absorb the nutrients.

Before a Shower

Drink one glass of water before a shower to lower your blood pressure.

Before Going to Bed

Drink one glass of water an hour before going to bed to keep yourself hydrated.
